Ash Sharif

Ash Sharif qualified with PWC before joining Windsor Stebbing Marsh (WSM) as an audit manager. He continued his professional training and qualified as an Associate member of the Institute of Taxation in 1993 and subsequently assumed responsibility for the Firm's Tax Department.

Ash become an equity partner in WSM in 1995 and was jointly responsible for its business development and marketing activities during his time there. He has considerable experience in providing ad hoc support to management teams within the SME sector as well as acting as 'virtual' Finance Director for those clients requiring a more 'hands on' involvement.

Ash became a partner in Pridie Brewster in 2005 and then merged his practice with PB Associates in 2006 as part of the reorganisation of Pridie Brewster. He lives in Sutton and is married with three children.

Outside of work he enjoys playing squash, golf and watching football.

Gareth Rees

Gareth was educated at Tiffin School, Kingston and University College London.

He joined the London office of Pridie Brewster from university in 1979 as a trainee, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1982.

He became a partner in the firm in 1985 and was based in the Twickenham office until 2004, dealing with a wide range of individuals, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organisations. In 2002 he became the firm’s Technical and Compliance partner.

Gareth left Pridie Brewster in 2004 to set up his own firm providing taxation and accounting services. He qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2005 and joined PB Associates in 2006.

Gareth lives in Weybridge and is married with two children. Outside of work he enjoys travel, concerts, eating out and football (watching not playing!).
